Course Description:

Sacred Water was created in reverence to this divine element that makes life on Earth possible. In this course we will gain deeper insight on how much water we use, need and waste on a daily basis and learn how to better protect and preserve this vital resource through behavior and system adaptations.

Module 1: Domestic Water

Domestic Water is the water that we see ourselves using in and around our home. In this module we will gain deeper insight to how much water we use, need and waste on a daily basis. We will learn ways to conserve domestic water by applying new habits and systems changes.

Module 2: Virtual Water

Virtual Water is the water we don’t see ourselves using but greatly depend on. It is the water it takes to grow our food and make our products. In this module we will get a better understanding of how much water it actually takes to live our current lifestyles and how to conserve virtual water based on dietary changes and product choices.

Module 3: Water Contamination

Water Contamination occurs when harmful substances contaminate a body of water rendering it toxic for human consumption. In this module we will be looking at the 4 leading causes of water contamination and what behavioral changes we can implement to make a difference.

Module 4: Water Purification

Water Purification is the process of removing contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, chemicals and pharmaceuticals from our tap water to produce safe clean drinking water. In this module we will cover why filtration is so important and how to choose the filter that is right for you.
