UNITY CLAY is a community clay studio created to enhance collective joy and sense of community through creativity.
Giving ourselves permission to explore our innate creativity in the presence of others without restriction, expectation or judgement is a profound experience in freedom, self- discovery and connection.
Playing with clay is built into our DNA. Our ancestors are in it, literally and figuratively. Clay is a powerful form of therapy that is proven to reduce stress, improve emotional regulation and increased focus. By playing with clay we can use our hands as our primary tool for joy, connection and healing.
It’s about so much more then making pots!

INSTRUCTIONAL CLAY STUDIO EXPERIENCE
2 SKILL BUILDING WORKSHOPS: Learn the basics on working in and eco-friendly clay studio and how to hand-build, wheel throw & glazing your own pottery
OPEN STUDIO: 8 - 3 hr sessions with hands-on guidance & support from Mesa
ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED: 10 lbs. of clay plus access to equipment and tools including 3 wheels & space for 5 pieces in the kiln
SHOWCASE POTLUCK : At the end of the session we will eat, drink and be merry, celebrating our collective creativity and our bounty of joyous work.
