Tiny Cooking Tips for Tiny House Living
I might live in a tiny house but i’m not skimping out on the cookin’. I love food, concocting, creating and most of all doing it in a non conventional way. So I thought I would give you another opportunity to get up-close and personal with Minimus to get some tiny tips and techniques on cookin’ off grid. Here’s a run down on some of my fav, I’m not being paid to endorse any of these products, I just genuinely love them!
Wonderbag - Made in South Africa and LOVED by Minimus Tiny House. Wonderbag is my FAVORITE cooking tool hands down. It is a simple but revolutionary non-electric slow cooker. The Wonderbag uses 70% less fuel for cooking. This company has tremendous moral and ethical values. Please check them out and buy one for yourself or a friend, I promise you won’t regret it. That’s a Mesa Guarantee.
QUICK TIP - Keep your compost container in the fridge instead of on the counter to reduce odor and fruit flies.
Minimus Magic Joe = Pezzetti (Mocha Pot) + Chaga (My Berry Maine Mushroom Powder) + Crispie Hippie (Small World Coffee) + Dash-O-Cardamon + Dash-O-Cinnamon + Oat Milk Creamer
Berkey Water Filter - I am not sure how you are currently filtering your water but many systems do not do a very good job and/or need electricity to run. I want to trust the water I am drinking and if the power goes out we still need access to clean drinking water. Berkey Water Filter systems are actually water purifiers because they remove bacteria and viruses that conventional filters cannot. I think this is pretty important right now… need I say more?
InstaPot - The Duo Nova is 7 appliances in 1: pressure cooker, sauté pan, steamer, slow cooker, rice cooker, food warmer, and yogurt maker. InstaPot is a pretty handy appliance to have in any home but especially a tiny one.
